This photo was taken on film.

That means that extra care was necessary during each step of creating this image. I use antique cameras, develop the film myself, and patiently scan each negative in my home lab. Every piece of film Art you purchase is unique and cannot be replicated.

Film photographs have many qualities that cannot be reproduced using a digital camera:

  • Film grain - each photo has its own unique grain structure. This adds a uniquely vintage and artistic feel to every image.

  • Vintage/Retro Colors - depending on the exposure and the film stock chosen, colors are reproduced differently.

  • Special Effects - vintage lenses and chemical processes create a wide variety of unique effects.

Due to the increased costs and time it takes to create these unique works of art, they are more expensive to purchase than digital prints.

Thick and durable, each photograph is giclée-printed on archival, acid-free paper that yields brilliant colors.

  • Paper thickness: 10.3 mil

  • Paper weight: 5.6 oz/y² (192 g/m²)

  • Giclée printing quality

  • Opacity: 94%

  • ISO brightness: 104%
